The CmSetup.log Log File

The entire information about the system and the setup operations as well as possible error messages are logged in the CmSetup.log file. (Also, see Software Installation and Communication  Initial Installation.) The file is created during setup and first saved to the Windows installation root directory. After successful completion of the setup, the file is moved to the main Chromeleon directory.

The file includes the information about all options selected for the setup (for example, MS support), the target directory, the program folder, registered files, and entries on the desktop. If problems occur during the operation, the error messages logged here may be especially helpful.
